Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Teufli. By creating an account, hosting an event, or RSVPing to an event, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Teufli lets hosts create events, invite guests, collect RSVPs, and coordinate logistics (messaging, photos, polls, bring lists). For paid events, Teufli facilitates communication of payment details between host and guest — Teufli is not a party to, and does not process, the payment itself. Hosts and guests are responsible for arranging and confirming payment between themselves.

Accounts

You sign in with a magic link sent to your email — we don't use passwords. You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since it's the basis of your Teufli login.

Host responsibilities

• Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of event details and for how they collect and use guest information within Teufli
• Hosts are responsible for confirming payment was actually received before marking a guest as paid
• Hosts may not use Teufli to host events that are illegal, fraudulent, or that solicit payment for goods/services unrelated to the stated event

Guest responsibilities

By RSVPing, you agree to provide accurate information to the host. If you opt in to text reminders, you confirm you are the owner or authorized user of the phone number provided.

SMS terms

Text-message reminders are opt-in only, sent to guests who provide a phone number and check the SMS consent checkbox on an RSVP. Message frequency varies by event. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time; reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice.

Prohibited conduct

• Uploading content you don't have the right to share, or that is unlawful, harassing, or infringing
• Using guest contact information collected through Teufli for purposes outside that event
• Attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service

Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (event details, photos, messages). You grant Teufli a license to host, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the service for the people you've shared it with.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Teufli is provided "as is." We do not guarantee event outcomes, payment completion between hosts and guests, or uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, Teufli is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using Teufli and request account deletion at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Teufli after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
